Reviews
Marla is amazing and we feel so comfortable knowing she is watching our fur babies. She’s very caring and communicates with us.
We have utilized Marla several times for care of our two senior dogs. She has always done an excellent job and always treated them with kindness. One of our dogs requires multiple eyedrop’s, and also received medication. She still took him and cared for him and provided him with what he needed. He was also losing his sight and she took time to help him find his way around her home. We have used several dog sitters in the past and nobody even matches up to how well a job Marla does. In addition, she sent us several pictures of them during the time they spent with her. It is such a relief to be able to go on vacation and know that your fur babies are being well taken care of!!
Great experience with Marla! Friendly and on time… my cats were very comfortable with her :) I definitely recommend!
Marla pays close attention to details and is very proactive with what she thinks is missing in the home for your cats. She is extremely knowledgeable about cats and other pets as well. I only had cats so I can only speak about the cats part. She is extremely extremely experienced with cats. Would definitely recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
In your home time will be spent with the dog, playing, petting, cuddling before and after walks. If you have a fenced yard, time outside to play weather permitting. In my home, if they are cat friendly, a slow introduction. My cats are mostly dog friendly, the girls take longer to warm up to dogs, but the male cats warm up quicker. It will be easy to separate them by room if needed.

Information Marla K. would like to know about your pet
Let me know your dog's favorite activity, favorite toy, whether or not he/ she likes being brushed. Places he/she doesn't like being touched, likes being touched. How long can he/ she be walked, good with a leash?
A typical day
Play outside such as fetch if that's what the dog likes, brush the dog because I enjoy it. Take the dog for a walk, go to a dog park. Do some basic training if the dog needs it. Teach the dog signals and/or sign language as I am Deaf and I can teach your pup signs. I will work well with a deaf dog.

Availability
I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups in your home. I have a 10 year old dog that cannot go on long walks so I have time to care for yours. 10/2022 update: My dog was diagnosed with cancer which was a surprise, within 2 weeks we had to put him down. It had spread to his lungs and he was suffering. It was a hard decision. Now we have 4 cats. Another dog will be considered eventually, for now I will enjoy caring for yours. Thank you! I'm a teacher I work early in the morning. If you need your dog walked, I can walk after 12 or during school holidays.
