Pet care experience
Hi. My name is Mark, and I’ve been taking care of dogs personally for about four years. My old dog passed away, and I’ve been trying to ease back into taking care of pets before committing to a new dog. As you all know, it can feel like a full-time job sometimes! I pride myself on getting to know the individual dog to best take care of them.

Mark’s been a family friend for a few years so we know him to be reliable in a pinch. I had recently went to the Poconos for a last minute weekend trip and had him watch rosie and buddy. He did a great job and my dogs love him.

Right now, I’m not offering pet care within my own home. As a local who’s done delivery work in the area, I have a fairly good understanding of routes for dog walking. For pet care in a client’s home, I’d prefer that they tell me specific information about their preferences; which doors should be closed, how much and which food to feed a dog, which dogs interact poorly with other pets, etc.

I’d like to know if a dog has any special needs, how they interact with new people, and anything on a walk that might scare your dog.
A typical day
In my experience, most dogs can’t resist a belly rub. For going on walks, I’d like to check out the library area. There’s usually wildlife and plants that would stimulate a dog.

Availability
Right now, I’m working part time in the morning from 9-1, except on Friday and Saturday. Other than that, my schedule is entirely open. I’m open to reserving a larger block of time for a visit or walk.
