Pet care experience
I've always had multiple dogs of my own, and I once jumped into a mucky, chest-deep swamp to save a dog that was stranded in the cold water trying to keep her head above water (the story made the paper and can be found by Googling "Pioneer Press Sainted and Tainted Mark Palmer). I have an extreme soft-spot for dogs and truly believe they are the greatest creatures on this planet. I have experience taking full care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm a very active person so I'm willing to walk or even run with your dog(s) if that's something they are interested in. Let's chat and see if we are a good fit!

Both Pepper, my Patterdale terrier, and I enjoyed the Rover.com experience with Mark. He got along great with Pepper and I always felt comfortable with him performing drop-in visits to my home.
Mark was wonderful to work with! He put us at ease while we traveled away from our two kittens for the first time.

I love dogs of all breeds. I would like to know about any preferences you believe your dog has, and any preferences you have for the way your dog should be treated (do you reward him/her with treats? when do they get fed? etc.).
A typical day
We will go for walks in the park, local paths, or anywhere else you suggest. If your dog is playful, we will certainly play often, whether it is with a ball, toy, or anything else. If your dog prefers to just be pet, cuddled, or tummy-rubbed, we will do that. If all of the above, we will have plenty of things to do!
