Happy Dog=Mental+Physical Exercise

Pet care experience

My friends all call me a dog magnet. When we take our dog out to play, all of the dogs gravitate to me (the treats in my pocket might have something to do with it). I started working with dogs when we got our puppy earlier this year. We trained him to advanced obedience in 5 months. Some of our neighbors were so impressed they asked if we could help their very high energy, mischievous husky lab mix, Kovu. I started training with Kovu every day working on basic obedience, impulse control, and physical exercise. He went from tearing up the house and needing to be put in the crate for hours, to a tired, happy dog content to relax while the owner worked from home. Kovu's owners also had the added bonus of no more accidents in the house on training days. From here, I caught the dog training bug. I started walking more dogs to help our busy friends and neighbors. I really liked seeing crazy, energetic dogs learn and become great family pets. Working with dogs helped my mental health improve dramatically, so I decided I wanted more dogs in my life. My goal is to become a certified service and therapy dog trainer, so I spend all my free time taking courses to learn more about dog psychology and obedience. I would love to work with your pet!

Mark and his Wife were amazing. They took both our small dogs into there home and showered them with love.( for 5 days) They went on walks to the dog park everyday and sent us pictures and videos while we were away. My kids looked forward to seeing there dogs happy and having fun. Highly recommend!!

Luckily, I have many options nearby for beautiful walks and hikes. I have a 50 foot long leash to help get your dog even more exercise without worrying about them running away in a non-fenced area. I make sure to tire out the dogs both physically and mentally by playing lots of games with them on our walks.

Information Mark N. would like to know about your pet

I’ll be sure to ask you if your dog has any special conditions or needs that I should account for during the stay and or walk.

A typical day

It usually involves going to the park to get their energy followed by obedience practice to help the dog get mentally tired. I make sure to bring water so they stay well hydrated.
