Mark was wonderful with my dog, who is very cute but not the most intelligent of dogs. He sent photos everyday and updates on how things were going, which meant I could relax on vacation and not worry about him. I would highly recommend Mark to look after your dog.

Mark and Maddie were wonderful with Cocomo. She went out to parks, they shared photos, noticed her quirks which we appreciated and came back as happy as when she left. Would definitely use Mark and Maddie again in the future. Thank you for taking care of our dog/family.

He was very caring when it came to our time change. He took very good care of our dog and sent us photos as updates to see how she’s doing :)

We are here for YOUR dog!

**EXTENDED ALOHA! We welcome all returning customers the sitting price of their last visit. Please contact me for a custom quote. Mahalo!**

ALOOOOOOOHA! We welcome your little one into our home and with the one-on-one attention he/she deserves! We're a family of dog lovers big and small, but our Dachshund, Tobi, prefers to run and play with other dogs her size. Small doggies unite!

Located in Monterey Heights, we have a big back yard ...

What Mark would like to know about your dog

Knowledge of a dog's routine is key. You don't want to throw them a curve ball and change their routine, as they are already overwhelmed in the new sitter's home environment. So keeping them on their morning potty breaks, feeding schedule and walk times help to minimize any initial stress and anxiety the dog may have.

We don't have any particular breed preferences in particular, as long as the dog is below 15lbs. Small dogs unite!

*IMPORTANT: Since Tobi is our resident dog, we only accept fixed dogs. This helps with any unwanted behavior from both dogs. Also, at the present time, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY NEW MALE DOG SITTING REQUESTS. We had an incident where we sat a male dog and he marked all over the house which was very unpleasant. We try not to keep the dogs confined in the house and let them roam freely (our house has an open layout which makes sectioning off difficult), however this only added to the problem. Sorry!

When Mark watches your pet

We only have 1 slot open per sitting. That gives more time to play with YOUR dog, snuggle with YOUR dog, and go on fun tail wagging' walks with YOUR dog! How can other sitters that watch 3, 4, 5 dogs still give the loving attention to YOUR dog?

Here's where we'll take our walks:
We are a block away from our neighborhood park, so we literally walk around the block with a pit stop at the grassy park. We are also about a 10 minute drive away from Pine Lake Park off Sloat Avenue. There is a generous dog park there where we do our walks as well. Finally, we do the occasional run to the beach (if the San Francisco weather is cooperating).

Your dog's sleeping arrangement:
Unfortunately, we don't allow dogs on the bed as our resident dog, Tobi, will soon start as well. Being a Dachshund we want to minimize future back issues for her. Other than that, wherever your dog is used to sleeping, that's where he/she will sleep. As I mentioned, we would like to minimize any change in routine as much as possible. Our Dachshund, Tobi, sleeps in her own bed. We have plenty of blankets and pillows for your dog to lounge in as well!

Time I'll spend with your dog
I work from home, so I will be with your dog the entire time. Your dog will NEVER be alone, in this new environment for him/her. I need breaks too, so we can all go out to the park or a trip to the beach for some outdoor time. Since we also have a nice fenced back yard, your dog can do out and play around too.
