Pet care experience
My family has always worked with rescue dogs and now I have two wonderful puppies, two kittens, and have had up to 22 chickens in my flock. Animals have always been an important part of my life and I treat them with as much care as I would children. For me as a caregiver, it is paramount to understand each pet's personal needs and comforts. This helps with a smooth transition during longer stays and continues to build a mutual friendship over time with repeated visits. I truly value "sweating the small stuff". I am a recent MBA graduate and a musician. As a former college athlete, I value being active as part of my daily routine. Working with athletic dogs that may require more attention is a welcome task as both of my dogs could replace Air-Bud.
Reviews
Mark did a great job with our two fur babies! They loved him right away during our meet and greet. He was a great communicator, and sent us updates upon arrival. Being able to relax while away, knowing your dogs are safe and taken care of is priceless. Thank you Mark for allowing us a weekend away, and peace of mind, knowing our doggies were in great hands!
Mark took care of my two dogs for 10 days and it was lovely to not have to consider them while I was on vacation. I felt I could trust him to walk the dogs and visit with them as discussed and that they did not have to wait for long periods of time between visits. I appreciate his willingness to give them one good long walk each day. I received texts and photos throughout my absence.
Mark is excellent with multiple types of pets and has experience with pet care for about a decade. He treats all pets as if they were his own and communicates regularly with the pet(s) owner. Trustworthy and honest, your animals are in good hands!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in six foot pine fence with wire to prevent digging. My pets are given as much freedom as possible, and I practice vigilance any time my pets are outside or around unfamiliar pets.
Information Mark M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know as much as possible, especially habits. The more personable I can be, the better. Everyone has unique needs, and so do their animals.
A typical day
I am a proponent of becoming familiar with new spaces: This means lots of walks and/or runs. At the same time, a healthy balance of active play and personal low power attention is important. I enjoy reading and simply interacting with my animals and their toys and as a musician, I often find myself playing them something when they are relaxing.

My schedule is currently flexible enough to accommodate mid day let outs and other walks and routines. This is ideal for overnight stays or extended stays. I communicate and work with clients to make sure their pet(s) are given the best care.
