Dedicated dog trainer/lover.

Pet care experience

I can offer anything from a quick visit to "early-years" training. I have always been in a position to raise and teach the most difficult breeds; currently I have a Husky trained for emotional support, and have had the patience and honor of raising many crazy Boxers. I've cared for and trained dogs as a labor of love for my entire life; no dog is too much to handle, barring the overly-aggressive. I not only love dogs, but all animals, and would be happy to care for your cat as well! Please reach out if you have any questions concerning what my policies are for your pets, or what my daily routine is when caring for them. I'm an open book! At the end of the day, all dogs deserve the most love we can offer, and I make sure they feel loved always -through mental stimulation, cuddles, runs in the park, and treats for good behavior.

Brooklyn had a great walk. Got some play time and tons of attention. She can be goofy and energetic and Mark was able to handle her nicely!

Mark was great. He took Mallow to the dog park, sent me pictures, and was always communicating with me.

Mark was communicative and my dog came home tired and happy. Thanks!

I have known Mark for a very long time and one thing I can tell you is that he LOVES dogs. and cats. and ferrets. and birds.... ok he loves animals :) I have a Siberian Husky who is definitely picky with her humans, and Mark was no exception. He was able to bypass her sassy attitude and now she loves him more than me! He has a way of taking leadership with her, yet still playing with her and making her feel like she is challenging another dog. I love the relationship he has with her! I can also count on him to take her out numerous times a day to burn her husky energy, which is a huge thing to me as huskies are a big challenge when not tired (while staying with my parents house, she literally broke my parents fences and tore down the front and garage door due to her separation anxiety). When she stays with him I am definitely at ease, knowing she is in good hands. If you have a baby like mine who deals with separation anxiety, you will definitely be in good hands with Mark.

Safety, trust & environment

It depends on the owners suggestion, but I would personally be happy spending the day playing around with whatever pets are here. We go for walks twice a day and I make sure they are positively reinforced for good behavior. We like to have our Husky, Kaia, meet with the dog you are having sat for the first meeting, to make sure they will get along well in the house. If not being played with, all toys get locked away to prevent jealousy and territorial behavior. No food is left out for the same reason. Some dogs/cats don't finish their food, in which case they are fed separately for comfort.

Information Mark M. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know the level of potty training and any bad behavior I should look out for. I have a dog and two cats in my house currently and would like to know if they won't get along together. If I am visiting your pet in your home, I'm not concerned about behavior unless it's something you know about that you want me to help with. (I.e. chewing furniture, biting hands, marking, barking, etc.)

A typical day

I love hiking in Memorial Park if it's a nice day, sometimes we will be out there for hours. If not, a good hour of walking around the neighborhood will do. I also like to dedicate time to stimulating their minds with training or games.
