I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks).

My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

Let us know if your dog has any special needs. We have owned flight risks and have experience with dogs who have required treatments and surgeries, we have a ramp for dogs to get into our vehicle if need be, have a gate in the home that allows us to secure/protect pets if they need extra security, we have a big space in our living room for your crate if you prefer and we are always nearby.
A typical day
We can cater to your dog's needs/routine but generally we love a morning and midday walk through our community's walking path, playing fetch in the yard, if it is raining then we can do fetch in the home in a long hallway, we've also taught several dogs how to do 'hide and seek' of their toys. If trust has been established we are near Glasgow Park and also love going for walks along the canal.

Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands!

We cannot say enough about what awesome dog sitters Mark and Kayleigh are! They were so kind, communicative, and caring! They sent regular pictures and updates and really made us feel comfortable about leaving our 11 year old shepherd mix with them. We will be booking with them for as long as we can!
Mark and Kayleigh were amazing, start to finish, while watching our sweet pup. They both clearly know and love dogs, their house and yard and wonderful and safe for pets. They were attentive to the dog, responsive to us while we were on our trip, and operate with respect and professionalism you’d hope for when letting someone watch over a part of your family. Can’t recommend them enough! Our Shiloh will absolutely be staying with them again on our next trip.
I was so over the struggle of trying to find a trustworthy boarding facility or reliable sitter - Mark has been a godsend! It’s so nice not to worry about if my furbaby is being cared for - my dog genuinely gets so excited to go to Marks house. The peace of mind being able to trust that my boy is being so loved and spoiled is invaluable. Mark is also an excellent communicator! He shares pictures and updates but also doesn’t inundate me while I’m trying to be on vacation and disconnect. I love that his wife is also home, having two people to shower my dog with attention is something he can’t get enough of lol I can’t recommend them enough!
I've trusted Mark to watch my dog on several vacations, and he's always made the experience completely worry-free. He's reliable, professional, attentive to details, and it's obvious he's a real dog person who genuinely cares about the animals he looks after. Every time I come home, my dog is happy, healthy, and in great shape—just as I left him. A+++
