Flexible schedule-Works around you!

Pet care experience

The minute I walk into a room and see a dog, I'm excited and want to get to know him/her! I've had experience with small dogs under 10 pounds, large dogs who are 100 pounds (who sometimes still like to think they're a lap dog!), and everything in between. I can provide energy for those dogs that need to run and exercise a little more, but can also be a calming presence that helps train your dog to be well-behaved. I'm not afraid to work with animals that may be a little more of a behavior problem, as I am patient and ready to go the extra mile to make sure all dogs get the love and care they deserve. My schedule is very flexible, but most importantly, I will provide the best care for your dog and love them just as much as you do! They are a part of the family!

Mark helped my wife and I out of a huge jam with a difficult to sit puppy. He stayed multiple days and spent tons of time with Milo. Knowing our situation Mark could have easily asked for an large fee but he still treated us fair while doing us a huge favor.

Mark was very polite and was good with Artax. He made sure that we met him before so that we were all comfortable. I would use him again to walk my pup.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is the most important thing when it comes to taking care of an animal. Whether that’s safety in dealing with other animals, a dog’s surroundings, or even the safety of other people, everyone should be home safe and sound at the end of a walk or stay!

Information Mark H. would like to know about your pet

I'd prefer to know a brief history of your dog, as much as you are familiar with. Having worked with animals that have been abused, I was able to be much more patient and approach the situation differently having known some of the experiences of the dog. It's also helpful to know if your dog is good around other animals or people, or not as comfortable in those situations.

A typical day

It's important for dogs to know their neighborhoods and immediate surroundings. It's also important for them to be able to explore and experience new places, smells, and paths that allow them to trust the person taking them for those walks. I'm a firm believer that every dog needs three things: a tennis ball, a stick, and a rope! Walks are great, but playtime is just as necessary!
