Hello there! We are Mark and Crystal and we have three dogs-- Helmsley (Lab Mix), Brody (Aussie Mix), & Sarge (German Shepherd). We love big dogs and ours are always excited to meet new friends! Dog Sitting & Daycare: Are you looking for an alternative to kennels while you're away on vacation or working? We work from home so your fur-babies will always have someone nearby to play with them or let them out for potty breaks. We have a decently sized fenced in back yard for all the pups to play in. Photography: We do a bit of photography as well so may bombard you with tons of cute photos of your dogs during their stay with us. Updates: As pet owners ourselves we understand the need to know how your dogs are doing so expect plenty of updates and photos throughout the day. Doggie Daycare: We offer Doggie Daycare at a lower rate than our overnight sitting but at the moment there is not an option to select Doggie Daycare. When you send in your request, make sure to mention 'daycare' and we will adjust the cost to our daycare rates. Please let us know your drop-off and pick-up times in your request so we can adjust the rates accordingly. We only accept one dog per day. Weekday Daycare (Monday-Friday): Up to 8 hours - $15 Up to 10 hours - $20 Late Pickup Fee - Additional $5 Saturday Daycare (8am-1pm): $15 Late pickups are subject to an additional fee. Always a wonderful day when Tex stays with Mark!
We could not be more pleased with Mark and Crystal! We felt so at ease leaving Homer in their care. We loved the pictures and updates that were sent to us every day (often more than once a day) that he stayed with them. They opened their home to him and treated him like he was one of their own. We will most definitely be booking with them the next time we need a sitter. Thank you so much Mark and Crystal!
Winston stayed four nights with Mark and Crystal. They provided amazing care for him, even bathing him during the stay. We received numerous updates and photos. He came home happy and pampered. They're our go-to for daycare and overnight stays!
We used Mark and Crystal for doggy-daycare for our 5-month old Border Collie mix, Winston. They were fantastic! They allowed us to arrange a meet-and-greet at their home the evening prior to introduce him to their three dogs. It was great to see how well the dogs played together, how much room they have in the backyard, and how welcoming their home is. During Winston's stay, they sent the most awesome photographs of him playing with the other pups, eating, chewing on a toy, etc. I cannot get over the photos! We also received frequent updates from Mark about how Winston was doing, including that they were working on some training! I was blown away by how much love they showed our dog, as if he was one of their own. We have already booked our next stay with them AND have recommended them to a few of our friends with dogs. They totally exceeded our expectations!

Since we have larger dogs, we prefer large dogs to stay with us. No dogs that show signs of aggression toward other dogs/people or excessive barkers, please. *** We do make exceptions for smaller sized dogs and large-breed puppies, but requires a scheduled meet and greet with us and our doggies. *** We would love to meet with you and your dogs first before agreeing to care for them to make sure that we are a good fit for each other. We will also send over an online questionnaire for you to fill out so that we can learn more about your dog.
A typical day
Our home is your dog's home. We want them as comfortable as possible so the better we can mimic their daily routine the better their stay will be. They are welcome to roam inside our house and play outside in our backyard with our dogs. If you have specific rules for them, such as no getting on furniture, let us know and we'll be sure to enforce them here as well. Time we will spend with your dog: On weekdays, we are both home during the day. Mark works from home but Crystal is available to supervise them to make sure they're not getting into any mischief and playing nicely indoors and outside in our yard. On weekends, we're all theirs! Lots of love and playtime from both of us. If, for any reason, we may need to leave the house, we will have your pet crated in an XL kennel with plenty of room to stretch. We want to be sure your dog is as safe as can be while we are not able to supervise them. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: They can sleep on the couch, floor, or in a kennel. We welcome your dogs to our home. Let us know what habits or routines you have set for your dogs and we will try to keep the same routine for them here to make things as smooth as possible.
