Cliched but true, dogs are a man’s best friend
Pet care experience
I have had dogs in various shapes and sizes since I was a child. A Jack Russell that lived to 17, a rescued Great Dane, a beautiful Weimaraner (the love of my life, sadly missed) and now a 3 year old Bedlington terrier. I also work part time at ITFC and have been DBS checked 👍

Safety, trust & environment
I would treat every pet as if it were my own, lots of walks and stimulating play time, I hate to see bored dogs. To encourage good behaviour I set ground rules for my own dog and would expect the guest dog to be able to follow the same simple instructions. This would help to create a calm and relaxed environment.

Information Mark F. would like to know about your pet
If they are good off the lead? do they have a good recall? are they social with other dogs? are they good with children? are they ok with strangers? how would you describe their personality? How much exercise do they require? Do they have any medical conditions? Would I need to administer meds?
A typical day
Early morning and afternoon walks of over an hour each time, play time at home or in garden with soft toys and ball's. Treats given as rewards for good behaviour.

Availability
I’m now retired and thought I’d try my hand at dog care. We live in a bungalow on the outskirts of Ipswich surrounded by fields and great walks for dogs (on or off the lead). We also have a large garden that is fully fenced in.
