Pet care experience
I grew up with a black lab and standard poodle, and I’ve cared for a variety of breeds in the past. I will give your dog the attention they need and will tucker them out with a run or playing in the park, or I can simply take them on an easy-going walk. I have experience with old and young dogs, and can assist in training if required during visits. I recently finished grad school and moved to the city for work. Im primarily available during the weekends, but may be able to do week day walks in the evenings on occasion. I’m familiar with the Manhattan area and know all the good spots for canine activities and/or walks. I’d love to meet your canine friend!

I've known Mark for about seven years now, and think he would be an excellent dog sitter for Rover. He is a genuinely great guy who is always positive and fun-loving. He cares deeply about everything he does and those around him. Whenever I see him interact with dogs, he is incredibly happy, and it is clear that he has a great love of all animals. Furthermore, Mark is someone who I put a tremendous amount of trust into. He has always proven to be highly diligent and responsible, always showing up on time and following through as promised. I give Mark my full endorsement.
Mark has taken care of my corgi, George, multiple times. He is incredibly loving with him and responsible. I never worry when George is with Mark. Mark is also a runner so if you want your dog to go on a run (George's little legs can't quite handle that), Mark would be happy to do that as well! Awesome guy, could not recommend him more!
I can’t speak highly enough of Mark’s character— he is always kind and responsible and is a calming presence for dogs. They can sense he is a truly good person! I am a Rover dog sitter myself and would always trust a dog with Mark. Not only is Mark kind and trustworthy, but he is very active and loves to go for walks and runs! You can often find Mark outside enjoying some physical activity and the great outdoors. He lights up around dogs and loves them whole heartedly— any dog would be happy to spend some time with Mark!
Mark is wonderful with dogs! He's always had dogs growing up and always makes us stop on the street to (ask first and then) pet all the dogs. Mark is high energy and works out or goes for runs daily. He often prefers walking places over any other mode of transport, so I know he will appreciate the opportunity to bring a dog along! Mark is also incredibly responsible. I would trust him with my dog any time. Our friends often ask him to watch their pets and Mark always jumps at the chance and takes very good care of all pets. I highly recommend Mark and know he will get along with your pup wonderfully!
