Responsible & active animal lover

Pet care experience

I’ve owned and taken care of pets for most of my life. Growing up my family has had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and even a cockatiel. I’ve house sat and dog sat multiple times and come away with a new best friend each time.

Mark our dog, Charlie. I booked him last minute and he was extremely accommodating and helpful, providing me with lots of details and a photo. Would definitely recommend and will use again. Thanks, Mark.

We were so happy with Mark! From the first time meeting, we knew it was going to work out well. Mark was a natural with our 2 Goldens. They loved him! He was good about asking questions if he was unsure of something. There was a little glitch with our WiFi when we were away which was a problem as he works remotely. He handled it well, let us know and we were able to rectify the problem with his help. I honestly NEVER felt uneasy being away from our boys and our house, I just knew Mark was there looking after things. Which was what we needed on vacation! A bonus was our house was left in immaculate condition, maybe cleaner than we left it!! We would have Mark back in a heartbeat, and would definitely highly recommend his pet and home sitting services.

Mark is a dependable and trustworthy individual, especially when it comes to looking after our dog, Cooper. He has assisted us on multiple occasions by taking him for walks and caring for him over extended periods. It helps that Cooper loves him too! Mark's compassionate and affectionate nature towards animals makes him an excellent choice for pet care. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark for anyone seeking a dedicated and loving caregiver for their pets.

Mark is a responsible and reliable pet sitter. I have trusted him with all my animals for many years. He is very trustworthy and his love of animals is very apparent. He is the perfect person to look after your pets for when you can't be there. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter and your pets will love being in his care!

I am a young, agile and strong pet lover who can adapt to the animal I am with. For bigger more domineering animals I am comfortable taking care of them & for more docile pet I can be a delicate gentle teddy bear as well!

Information Mark D. would like to know about your pet

It’s important for me to know any special conditions or instructions that pertain to a particular pet. Certain things they can’t do or have trouble with should be noted so they are avoided if possible. I also like to know what a pet loves to do so i can spend more time on those types of activities. All around i also think it’s important to get a sense of the personality of each individual pet so they are always comfortable and feel at home as much as possible.

A typical day

I love to play with pets in a variety of ways. Every pet is different and each one likes certain activities or toys more than another pet. I think identifying the best activities that suit a particular pet is something that comes fairly naturally to me, and i enjoy the challenge of seeing if a pet likes to run around in the yard more, play with toys in the house more, or somewhere in the middle. Outdoor activists can include fetch, play chasing, running around, and anything else that’s spontaneous but safe. Indoor activists can include chew toys, pet puzzles that stimulate the brain and other animal toys that the pet takes a liking to.
