I am a full time, honors student, who has trained and reared three of my own PTSD and Seizure Response Service dogs. I am a veteran, QM3, who served from 90-94, aboard a 400' polar ice-breaker, in the US Coast Guard. I also grew up assisting our family on a ten-twenty horse, quarter horse ranch, in Colorado, where we learned to both care for, and respect, the animal companion. As a vet with PTSD, I care much more for animals, than I do for most people. I get animal's behavior, people... not so much! I let my buddies learn, and play, and apply positive reinforcement methods. Those in my care, are well-protected, and given the chance to have wonderful experiences.
