Been in NYC for 1 year. I've lived with dog(s) for 8 years. Experience caring for dogs with high anxiety/timid walking in the city. Experience walking dogs of varying sizes (large German shepherd or Labrador), multiple dogs at a time, feeding dogs with special attention, overnight stays while the primary owner(s) were out of town, and managing illnesses. Experience walking up to 3 dogs at one point, as well as volunteering at a shelter walking dogs.

Mark was fantastic with our 1-year old black lab Maverick. This was our 2nd time having Mark watch our dog, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone and plan to have him watch Maverick again. He was timely, provided photos and updates daily, and kept us at ease while traveling. Additionally, we had overnight travel delays on our way back to NYC and had no one to watch our dog for the additional night when we couldn’t get back. Mark offered to come back for another night without any issues, and we are very grateful. Thank you!

Shows mindfulness to avoid leaving food out or anything that can be chewed on. Cleans up after pets and shows compassion to make sure pets are happy. Lived with dogs in the past (lab, golden retriever, husky mixes) and experience taking pets for longer than normal walks due to having higher energy. Understand that not all pets are similar and am cautious to avoid situations where pet would be anxious in certain situations (parks with a lot of other dogs, heavily crowded areas, etc). Always mindful to clean up after home sittings as well.

Quick learner and can be taught how to administer any medication as necessary. Important to know if your dog(s) are alert to other dogs easily, for I can make adjustments to lessen encounters or be vigilant of other dogs while on a walk. Always love meeting new pets!
A typical day
Currently in a clinic setting during normal office hours. Available after work to walk dogs in case owners have to work late. Will take time to find different parks to walk around and/or take different routes to ensure pets do not encounter problematic scenarios. Enjoy taking walks along less crowded areas.0
