I'm a dog lover who enjoys hitting the trails. If you're looking for an experienced dog sitter who will make sure your dog gets plenty of activity (but also lots of snuggles) then I'm your guy! My partner and I both work from home so can make sure your dog gets plenty of potty breaks and activities. I have a Senior rescue Beagle who I adopted 8 years ago. I adopted him as an adult and he had a lot of behavioral issues that we had to work hard to overcome. He's now the sweetest old man and my best friend. So if your dog has any behavioral issues or training goals let me know and I can use my experice to work with them while sitting them. In addition to having a dog as an adult, I also had one growing up and have volunteered at shelters. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions or to schedule a meet and greet.

Phenomenal! My pup had a great day with Mark. He took her on a long hike then cuddled up with her on the couch. He handled her tricky behaviors and reactivity like a pro -- he's clearly really knowledgeable about dog behaviors. His communication was excellent and I'd 100% use him again.
Mark truly cares for his dog holistically, and is always so attentive and thoughtful as an owner. He shows genuine care to any dog he engages with or watches and I would have zero hesitation in having him care for a family pet.
I've loved spending time with Mark and Chewy. Mark has given Chewy a dog safe and friendly home, and Chewy's become a well trained and friendly dog. Mark always cares for Chewy, and always love getting to spend time with other dogs too.

A typical day
We usually go on two long walks on the trails and then go outside at least one additional time to play. Inside we create a welcoming environment and engage with the dogs regularly using puzzles, toys, or just cuddle time.

I work from home and am very flexible. I can take your dog out as much as needed. We live on open space with quick access to trails and both myself and my partner are very active.
