Pet care experience
Since I was five years old I've been surrounded by animals; baby fur puffs, adult and Geriatric fur babies, exotic animals (gecko's, rats, fish, snakes, spiders), to name a few. No animal goes unloved in my life because what would humanity be without them?
Reviews
It was so great having Mark come take care of our cats and bearded dragon. One of my cats is diabetic and Mark was timely and consistent about checking his glucose levels and giving him insulin. He sent pictures during every visit. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy and reliable to take care of our animals while we’re away from home! We will most definitely check and see if he’s available for any future trips!
Mark's love of animals is honestly what makes him incredibly special. His care and compassion is truly admirable, and to see how animals respond to him is testament in and of itself. I've watched birds sing to him, dogs go out of their way to come say hello to him, cats just randomly approach him to receive pets, and even watched reptiles and fish do everything they can to get close to him. I've seen him work with dogs at an animal shelter and seen how even the most scared dogs would come right up to him and how gentle he was with them. He's always made sure to match an animal's needs and never forces anything on them that they don't want. And the best part is that he's the same way with people. I wouldn't trust anyone more with your pet than Mark.
I had met Mark many years ago. He is the most gentle person with pets, he cared for my three cats for a week while I was on vacation. He is very trustworthy with pets. And a plus, animals love him!

For my dog, Jagger, we have a routine of morning walk. I make sure he goes twice (if he needs to) while we're out, then we come back in for a quick run around and get his zoomies out. I take him for an evening walk after dinner with the same routine as the morning walk. Extra zoomies and extra playtime means a very good sleep during the night. For the cats, I have an office which we play in. Peacock feathers are a HUGE hit for them. My exotic pets get special times for enrichment and cuddles (should they accept them). The only pet I can't handle, for obvious reasons, is my fish Max. He's a Beta, but we play along the glass of the tank. Peek-a-boo is his favourite game so far, as well as the Neon fish and the Mystery snail, Gary.
Information Mark B. would like to know about your pet
I'll need to know their personality, if they're good with other animals, if they get triggered by certain clothes or smells (so I can avoid the animal being stressed and anxious). If there's any medications they need. And also what their feeding/sleeping routine is.
A typical day
I interact with each each based on their individual needs. If a dog is bouncy and extroverted, I'll be outside with them. I'll walk them as long as they want to sniff around. However, I know what signs to look for if they're exhausted or overstimulated. I love to play with dogs, with cats, I also love to simply cuddle if that's what they want. No dog or cat (or other pet) is out of my realm of love.
