Since I was 13, I've been caring for my family dogs, 3 in total. I was always responsible for the usual feeding, watering, walking, vet trips, and making sure that they were happy. I've even taken care of them since they were just pups. I've been through the difficult but rewarding puppy care, close bathroom accidents, and waking up every 3 hours to make sure there were no accidents. I've always loved animals and I always see them as a member of the family. Since I've been away from home being in college, I miss my furry friends and i enjoy the company of having them around. I haven't met a pet that didnt like my company, and they have always been friendly to me, as I am to them. Since I am in college right now, I am not in a good position to own my own pet, but I want to fill that void in my life by taking care of other pets. I myself am very active as I am on the cross country team at my college, and understand the importance in exercise for all life. In fact, the dogs that I have back in my hometown would frequently go on runs with me down our long private drive, and they knew exactly what time of day it was to go on a run as they would wait by the door at the same time everyday. I myself am a very social person, and very friendly at that. I have run across several lost dogs and cats, and have returned them to their owners the same day.
