Pet care experience
I have been working as a pet sitter for around 20 years! I started doing it as a teen for my parents friends, and have always loved doing it as a side job since. When I started working in spas/salons I would pet/house sit for my clients. I grew up with pets, so I have experience with animals of any age young to senior. Aside from my experience, I feel that my empathy and patience helps me connect with all kinds of animal personalities. Every time I pet sit I treat the animals with the same love and care as my own. I have experience with both anxious animals and anxious pet owners, and I'm happy to accommodate anyway I can. I have experience mainly with dogs, cats, bearded dragons, and hedgehogs. I am always respectful of folks spaces and privacy. Feel free to ask any questions you have! LGBTQ+ friendly.

Marj went above and beyond with our older AmStaff lady when we went on a trip. Canela developed a UTI and Marj handled it perfectly, communicating clearly and calmly and being so caring and wonderful toward our girl when she needed it most. Beyond dealing with our pup’s urgent medical issues, Marj was also really in tune with Canela’s vibe and provided lots of care and most importantly, cuddles. Pictures and updates were sent daily. I cannot recommend Marj as a pet and housesitter more strongly— she is really wonderful!
Marjorie was an amazing dog sitter and took great care of our Luna! Our instructions were followed to a “t” and Marjorie went above and beyond in communication with us about Luna during the stay. Marjorie is so wonderful. She took care of our dog for 2 weeks while we were abroad. Our dog can be difficult (she is reactive, anxious and has accidents). Marjorie cared for her incredibly well. She was responsive, took extra time to meet with us before we left and took great care of our apartment. I highly recommend her. She is the best.

I have a small fenced in backyard where I let my dogs out when I'm not taking them for a walk. I have 2 very friendly dogs (Gus and Millie) that love to play with other dogs. I also have 2 cats, Franny and Baby. I live in a 2 bedroom house, and the animals have a decent amount of space to move around in. I'm happy to crate your pet if that is what you prefer!

I’m very open to spending time with all kinds of animals, with all kinds of needs. If your animal has needs that I’m not experienced in, I’m happy to learn! I have a lot of patience, and feel that every animal deserves the attention they need.
A typical day
I love to have play time, as well as snuggle time! We can go on walks, play with their toys, and have some chill down time. I’m also happy to bring treat puzzles if your pup will benefit from the extra mental stimulation!
