Marjie is so great! My dog gets all the love and attention she could ever want. It’s so nice to come home from our vacation knowing that our dog had a wonderful vacation, too.
My Hermione was so lovingly cared for. Marjie was attentive and kind. Hermione had so much fun, it was almost like she was on her own vacation when we went on vacation.
We were so appreciative of our dogs stay with Marjie and family. I would not hesitate to book with them again. Once we met them, I knew it would be perfect. They take such good care of them, pay attention what their needs are and just treat them so well. So many great pictures and a little summary of their day. We hope to be able to book with them in the future!

We live on 4 beautiful acres nestled in the trees. Our street is quiet and very short so we get little traffic save from our neighbors and Amazon drivers. We have 2 senior big (90lb) dogs (9 + 10 years that loaf around and keep our feet warm on long Zoom calls. We have a wrap around deck in the back that leads into an enclosed potty area. When the weather is nice, we leave the slider open for dogs to set their own sun bathing schedule. We walk dogs before work, at lunch, and after work around our neighborhood. The dogs like to say hi to the horses, donkeys, goat, and sheep of the neighborhood. They tend to swear at the deer and gang of turkeys 😳

Dogs must be crate trained. If I need to leave the house to run errands, I feel the safest place for them unsupervised is in their crate.
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood is generally stimulating for the pups because of what they may encounter. They may see wildlife. We have neighbors that walk their donkeys and goats so it’s a grab bag. Some of our neighbors will ride their horses on the unpaved roads. I hide plain cheerios and treats around the house for some stimulating nose work.

I work 3 days from home and two days in the office. My husband works 3 days in the office and two days from home. So at least one person is home all day.
