Always down to have fun.

Pet care experience

Hello, My name is Maritza. I am looking forward to start working with Rover, and your pets. Yes, it will be my first time working with other pets besides mine. I am willing to expand my experience with pet care. Since I will be taking care of your fur babies, I am considering on taking class for Pets First Aid & CPR.

I wasn't able to take my dog with me on vacation. but luckily I know Maritza, and my boy Takka was happy to stay in his own home while I was gone. Also I'm even happier to have someone come feed him, walk him and love on him while I was gone!

Maritza is a great animal lover! She loves every pet she sees. When I first brought her to my home I expected her to be scared of my dog (since most people are lol) but instead she gave him to same amount of affection like my boy loves to give. He is very very emotional! Lol

Safety, trust & environment

Always keep water available. At a minimum, take them on a 20-30 minute walk each day. If there's a leash-free dog park nearby, ask your Owner if they're well-behaved there. If there's a backyard, throw balls around or play with them in a fence yard. To meet a new dog, don't immediately walk up to them, don't try to pick them up, don't try to pet their face, don't stare into their eyes, and don't lean over them. Instead, sit on the floor or the couch, and let them walk over to you. Let them sniff you for a minute or two, hold out a hand so they can sniff that. Wait a few minutes before trying to touch them, and when you first touch them, pet them around the shoulders, not their belly or their face
