Pet care experience
Professionally, I was a dog walker in Boston for two years at a pet store that offered walks, check-ins, overnight stays, daytime care, and occasionally administering medicine when needed. All of these were services that I was trained in and performed on a daily basis. I have also been a reliable petsitter and dog walker in my spare time for years, working initially for neighbors and family friends who then gave my name to various other people who then sought out my services. Dogs are my favorite company and I'd love to spend time with yours!!

In the time that I have known Marissa I have witnessed her love for all dogs, but especially my own - who she takes wonderful care of on a regular basis. I have also, on a few occasions, been with her during the petsitting and dog walking she does and can vouch for not only how responsible and dedicated she is but also her genuine love for all of the dogs that she takes care of.
Marissa W is a terrific dogwalker and dogsitter. I feel very grateful to have her because I know I'll come home and find my dog content and well-cared-for. My dog is a very strong and very bouncy 65-pound golden-doodle, but Marissa can handle her very confidently. Marissa has dogsat and dogwalked for me for several years, and has always been true-blue reliable and caring. I give her an A+

I have a large backyard that is a favorite of my friends' dogs and we even have a long lead attached to a tree that is available if need be! My backyard also borders a school park where there are often dog friend's passing by on their walks that will say hello :)

A typical day
I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood that is lovely to walk around and meet new friends! I am also a short drive from multiple dog parks if that is part of your dog's routine as well! I also have plenty of dog toys from balls to Frisbees to chew toys that we can enjoy in my backyard!

I'm currently a nanny but my schedule is such that my Monday and Friday afternoons are completely open! I am also available most weekends for drop-ins or even sitting!
