Pet care experience
I have been around animals quite literally all of my life. I have experience with all kinds of breeds, and my experience has given me lots of helpful tips specific to different breeds. Although I don’t have any grooming or training experience, I do have a lot of patience and motivation and LOVE for all pets. I am frequently called on to watch friends or coworkers dogs when they go out of town or on a date night because of the love and passion I have for animals. I’m very flexible with most things and very very patient. Anything for your pet! Please don’t hesitate!

Marissa has always been such a dog person! Ever since I can remember she’s always given her heart to them. Even if it’s not a dog that she knows! Seeing any dog in public resulted in her practically on the floor loving every second of kisses and nose nudges that the dog was willing to give. She absolutely adores these creatures.
Marissa would be a phenomenal caregiver for animals. She has been surrounded by dogs her entire life and her love for them shows in everything that she does. She knows the right and wrong ways to approach every situation in order to keep dogs safe and happy; even though she doesn’t have professional experience, she would still make an excellent addition to the team.

A typical day
I love to take dogs to the local park to throw a ball, take them on morning walks, and make sure they make it to a local dog park to interact with other pets to stimulate their mind and increase their socialization skills.

Currently working in La Jolla Monday through Friday- drop ins and walks will most likely be after 6pm on weekdays with total flexibility on the weekends.
