Pet care experience
I managed a doggy daycare / boarding facility for 4 years prior to my current job (nursing assistant at a hospital). I also have been dog sitting / dog walking since I was in middle school. I fly to North Carolina once a summer to dog sit and I also dog sit at least 2 different dogs locally. 😊 I also go to individuals houses to let their dogs out potty during the day (or when needed).

Marissa did an amazing job with our dog and my parents' cat while we were gone (both seniors)! She was wonderful about asking questions when any clarifications were needed, so I knew that she really cared about giving the best care to our pets. Our dog was recovering from surgery, and Marissa was able to both monitor his recovery (he was a couple of week's out with a few limitations) and spoil both of them with love and attention while we were gone! She was awesome about sending photos and videos, and even asked how we wanted them (frequently or just here and there). She was also able to take our dog next door to see his doggie bff for play dates as well. She even vacuumed and cleaned up quite a bit before she left, so we came home to a clean home. I would highly recommend Marissa if you are in need for your dog and/or cat! We would definitely love to have her back again in the future! :)
Marissa was so great with our dogs! She even sent us a picture while we were away! I wasn’t stressed while we were away from them knowing they were in great hands. She asked questions to get to know our dogs before we left and was very thorough! Would absolutely recommend Marissa and wouldn’t hesitate having her stay with our dogs again in the future! Marissa was AMAZING! She kept us updated on how he was doing and sent us the CUTEST photos of him everyday! We came home to a clean house and a very happy dog! We highly recommend Marissa for any of your pet sitting needs!
Marissa is amazing with animals. My dog is very shy with people but Marissa has made her feel very comfortable. She is so good with my Sky and is really great with all dogs !! She is very trustworthy and reliable as well.

I have a large, fenced in yard that my two babies can enjoy. If your fur baby gets along with other dogs, I’d be happy to allow them into my home and explore the yard, too! If you prefer I be in your home, I will be happy to take your fur baby for a walk, take them into the yard to sniff around or crate them if that is your personal preference. Frequent potty breaks ensure no accidents happen! Food and water is also always available in my own to my fur babies. ☺️

If your pup has allergies/medications or any health issues (like seizures, etc). Whether your pup requires someone to be with them 24/7, or if they would be okay left alone for a few hours. Are they ok with other dogs? Are they food, toy, leash aggressive?
A typical day
If your pup is dog friendly, we always have a great time exploring my fenced in yard with my two fur babies! I also love to explore the area in which my client lives and take the pups for a walk near where they are familiar! If they require more energy and enjoy car rides, I’d love to take them to a local park for a walk and stop for a pup cup. ?

Availability
I have had pets my entire life! I currently have a 9 year old Pug and 6 year old Shihtzu. I am a part time hospital employee and I am enrolled in nursing school full time during the school year. Pet care gives me the flexibility to work around my hospital schedule as well as fit studying into my daily routine while caring for your fur baby!
