I am originally from Wisconsin, but I moved to Iowa for college, met a boy, got engaged and here I am now! Dogs have been a love of mine since I can remember, so much as I used to get on all fours as a kid and pretend to be a dog because I wanted one so bad, ha ha. Embarrassing now, but it worked and my mom and dad finally got me a dog! When I finished college I knew it was time to get my own. I saved up just to get a dog and I was able to get my first pup, Kona, in August of 2021. She is a Golden Retriever and my best friend and we do everything together. I can actually count on my fingers the amount of times I have been without her since then! I joined this app because I know how important our furry friends are and I know how scary it can be leaving your animals with people you don't know. But sometimes that's the case. I struggle to find a place to board my dog when my fiancé and I go somewhere, so I want to provide a space where people know their dogs safe. I work from home and my days consist of sitting on the couch snuggling with my pup, taking her out to play fetch, and going on walks. Kona is great with other dogs, she loves having another dog to play with and I would LOVE to have some more company during the day. My day revolves around Kona and making sure she is happy and I would love to do the same for yours! My Fiancé and I live in a great neighborhood with a large backyard and plenty of room for dogs to run! There is also a great park across the street from my house. Kona loves it and we find ourselves outside playing fetch A LOT! Our neighbors have dogs as well that all enjoy playing. We have a nice big house where the pups can lounge and relax on the couch, or lay in front of the double doors watching all the birdies and squirrels! I spend lots of time snuggling and playing with my pup and I assure that your dog will get just as much attention! I am comfortable giving medicine to dogs (especially if they like peanut butter). My family dog growing up had diabetes, so if your dog has and type of medicine given by shots I can do that as well!
