Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life and fostering/rescuing dogs is a passion for both of us. We absolutely love dogs and currently we have 5 rescue dogs including a blind Great Dane. We know how hard it is to go out of town and leave your dogs behind. Kennels can be stressful for both dogs and owners. We would love to make it easier for you for you to go out of town. We know how to give pills if necessary and if your dog(s) is on a special diet just let us know. Our goal make this less stressful for you and your dogs. Marissa is my go-to person when I have to leave my dogs behind. She takes wonderful care of the boys and they are always excited to go for a 'visit' to her place! She keeps them on their feeding schedule, takes them for walks and cuddles and plays with them. My boys love their home away from home when they get to go visit Marissa. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a safe, caring and clean place to leave their dogs!
Whenever I am need in someone to watch our beloved pit bull, there is no one I would call besides Marissa. I knew from the first minute she introduced herself to Maggie that she knew what she was doing by her body language and care in the initial introduction. When I got from my week gone Maggie was totally at ease and comfortable being around Marissa. I would feel 100% confident in Mariasa's abilities to take the absolute best care of your beloved pet just as she has mine!

We would prefer to know if your dog has any issues with/against men or women. (We have a dog that prefers women due to being abused prior to us rescuing her.) Also, we are open to boarding in our house for large breed dogs after introduction with our dogs.
A typical day
We look forward to getting to know your dog(s)! We can walk them in your neighborhood, at local parks, or go enjoy the beauty of the trails at places like McAlister Park. Wherever your dog feels most comfortable being walked! Does your dog enjoy the dog park or playing ball? Definitely let us know because we know all the dog parks around town!! Does your dog prefer cuddling? That is a favorite pastime in our house so we can make sure your dog feels loved while you are away!
