Pet care experience
I’m a huge dog and cat lover! (I have one of each). I’ve had a variety of animals all my life and have dog/cat sit (and walked) for a few years now. I currently work with multiple rescues/shelters in my area to rescue, foster and TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) animals in need. I mostly foster cats and kittens so I have a lot of experience dealing with friendly and not-so-friendly cats. I am also a positive reinforcement force-free dog trainer with over a year of experience.

Marissa was absolutely wonderful! My pup recently went blind and she was so caring and patient with him. You can just tell from talking to her that the safety and care of your pup will be her #1 priority. I would definitely book her again.

I am available to come to your house to cat/dog-sit or walk. And I would be more than happy to do a meet and greet before we book anything:) I am a force-free trainer and believe respecting a dogs boundaries are extremely important to gain trust and love which is why i do research on understanding dogs body language; While i would not consider myself an expert, I would label myself as very knowledgeable on dog behavior and training. Every animal is different and has different needs so my prices are my average but depending on your individual animals needs, the price may fluctuate. If you are booking house-sitting but do not need me to sleep in your home, the price will definitely decrease:)

A typical day
Dogs need lots of stimulation whether that be physically, mentally or both so I have lots of enrichment toys that involve sniffing for food. There’s a large park around the corner from me where I like to take my dog for her daily physical stimulation. I also love working on training (whether that be fun tricks or public access) so if you’d like us to work on something specific let me know and we can discuss specifics :)
