I am a 32 year old female living in Long Island, NY. I currently live with my lovely roommate who has two cats (Arthur and Penny) along with a dog (Roscoe). When she is away, I make sure that the pets are fed, given water, pets, walks and overall good company :). Roscoe is a senior dog, so when I feed him in the mornings, I make sure to give him his medication and to go slowly on our walks, as he has arthritis. My love for animal care began when my older sister got her first dog, Maya. I instantly fell in love with her sweet and playful personality. For the past 13 years, I have enjoyed spending time with Maya. My experience with pet care began with my first roommate in Denver for her rescue dog, Reno. Reno is a very timid but sweet dog who I have had the pleasure of watching for extended periods of time. When my roommate would be away for the weekend or for any type of trip, I would make sure to feed her, give her pets, go on walks and even on some hikes!
