Hi there wonderful pet parents! I’m Marissa and I am so excited for the opportunity to help out with your amazing pets! While I began my journey on Rover in San Diego (my hometown) I have just moved to Pasadena with my husband and am excited to meet all of the wonderful pets and their respective parents in the area! Through my time on Rover I have had the opportunity to grow my experience with all pet personalities and meet so many awesome owners! While I am just getting moved in officially I have been spending most weekends locally over the last few months. This transition period has allowed me to become familiar with managing commute time and made me knowledgeable about exciting spots your pet might love! In the past I have pet sat for my aunt at her home with her one dog Bailey! My days/nights with Bailey included feeding her, taking her for walks, and giving lots of night time cuddles! Additionally,I have had a dog in my home my whole life so I am very aware of the responsibilities and care needed! My pup Mochi is 3, so I have gone through the big puppy phases. I have attended multiple training courses with her from pet smart as well as a local company where she graduated through advanced! Finally, I work in the daycare and education field while earning my degree in elementary education so I have tons of patience, problem solving skills, and kindness!
