Marissa is so sweet and patient with so many types of dogs. Working with her in the animal care business has been such an amazing experience! She has such a gentle soul, I would trust my dog with her anytime. So glad to know her!
Marissa is fantastic with dogs, she is both calm and patient, and will know right away how to read your dogs behavior. She was excellent at getting the dogs excited and in the mood to play when in day camp and her number one priority was always safety for both humans and pups. Marissa is one of the best and most thoughtful animal care takers I have ever had the privilege to work with!
Marissa is probably the best dog handler and caretaker I know. She is more than competent and I would have to say that very few people have quite the understanding that she does, nor can most connect to dogs like she can. It's almost uncanny. 100% would highly recommend to anyone.
They’ll have a pawsitvly good time
I’ve been a dog owner my whole life and a dog trainer for the past 4 (working primarily with service dogs and working breeds). I also have experience working in dog daycare and boarding and regularly volunteer at Your Dog’s Friend, a local nonprofit focused on building a positive relationship between owners and their dogs. My love of dogs has lead me to pursue credentials for both postive dog training and canine fitness ...
What Marissa would like to know about your dog
I love to hear about what type of training they’ve had so far and what types of activities they enjoy. Do they have a favorite tree to pee on or a favorite street to sniff down? Do they like treats/have a favorite kind? How are they around other dogs? Do they like to say hi to strangers or would they rather a quiet leisurely stroll through the park? Are they crate trained? How do they handle being left alone for any length of time?
I’ve worked with a number of breeds over the years and while I love them all I must admit I have a weakness for Doodles and bully breeds.
