Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old and I am now 20. They were pets of my Mother’s coworkers. I had a client for up to 6 years until they had to move to Ohio. They had 4 cats and 2 dogs. So I believe I have good experience with handling multiple animals at once. I have also always had pets myself. I do very well with puppies. I have potty trained plenty of them. I also am great with big dogs too. All dogs I have had were big and I have watched small dogs including a chihuahua and a bulldog. I have volunteered at a veterinary hospital before and I had the opportunity of taking care of the cats and dogs there. I got to help the cats after they had their spay surgery, so I am good with taking care of your pet even if they have a certain condition because I have experience in that.

Marissa was very responsive and attentive when it came to house sitting Tucker and Rosie. She also has very strong communication skills and kept in constant contact regarding the status of my dogs. Lastly, she graciously helped out with apply medication to one of my dogs as he was battling an ear infection. I ended up rebooking her for an additional drop-in service due to my trip being extended and she jumped right back in! Would recommend.
Never showed up. Did not contact me at all.
Marissa is the best walker! She takes my two big dogs, one a puppy and works miracles!!!

I have no breed preferences. I am happy to take care of any breed of dog. I would love to know how they do with other dogs. I would like to also know what is their favorite game to play.
A typical day
What I do on a typical day is I wake up to letting my dogs out for the restroom. When they are done I’ll go ahead and take them on a run. I typically like to keep them out for about an hour. Once we come back home I brush their fur out. I feed them and give them treats. What I love doing with my dogs the most is taking them on hikes. They are such active dogs that it’s always so nice to see how they interact one hikes.

I am very flexible with my availability. I attend Sacramento State. I have classes Monday through Thursday in the afternoons. Other than that I am mainly at home.
