Hello there! My name is Marissa and I am co-owner and operator of Tail of Two Sitters and I have more than five years of dog care experience under my belt. I have had the privilege of working with dogs in myriad settings- I worked in Chicago as a Kennel Attendant in one of the city's premiere dog daycares, I worked and volunteered in a rescue outside of Seattle, Washington while launching Tail of Two Sitters, and all the while, I have continued to foster, sit, and walk dogs. I understand how challenging it can be to leave your dog with someone new, and that is why I am always communicative throughout my time with your pup. Welcome! We can't wait to meet you and your dog.

Marissa and Luke are amazing dog sitters! They took care of our two-year old rescue, Yoda, while we took family vacations, and we never had to worry while we were gone. Yoda would actually be excited to going to their place each time we dropped him off. Marissa and Luke sent us text messages and photos of Yoda happily enjoying his vacation as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Marissa and Luke for anyone looking for short or long-term dog sitters.
I cannot say enough good things about Marissa and Luke. When we had to leave our little lab girl with them, I always knew she was in the best hands! I used to battle a little nugget of guilt when we had to leave a member of the family behind - but they were so loving and caring for our girl - my concerns melted away. Our girl has some pretty severe food allergies and skin issues. Marissa and Luke took that all in stride and our pup came home happy and healthy! I was incredibly sad when they told me they were moving to Michigan, but hope that others now get the chance to work with these amazing pet sitters. If you have the opportunity to work with them, you can be assured your fur children are with a family that will treat them as one of their own!
