First off, I'd like to thank you for choosing to view my profile. I know there's a lot of Rover sitters out there, and I'm so glad you chose to take the time to click me! I've been pet sitting for a long time, ranging from dogs, cats, fish, and small animals. I'd love to sit for your exotic animals if you have any! I've sat for multiple friends and family as well as some of my neighbors. As a fur mom or dad, you'll get consistent and constant videos, pictures and texts on how they are doing throughout our time together! My biggest priority is your baby's safety above all, and I will strive to make sure you feel confident and sound with my reliability. I often schedule meet and greets before the actual appointment to get to know your companion, but if that is a problem with your schedule, rest assure, we can always work around it. A bit about me: My name is Marissa, and I'm currently 25 years old. At the moment, I live together with my little baby girl Luna. She is a Blackmouth Cur mix that was rescued from the Texas Humane Heroes shelter. She is a delightful four year old and loves to play with other animals, big and small!

Some times angels wear flip flops and shorts, but none the less this angel who took care of my four legged family member. This was a short notice trip and I am new to the area. Marissa opened up her heart and agreed to watch my new dog with little notice. Even stayed beyond her required time when my flight was late. As a new 'mom' she sent me pictures and told me not to worry. Marissa feed, walked, gave my dog meds, and spent the night on the couch with my dog. I plan to use her again and would recommend her. She provided expert care and went beyond my expectations for dog and house sitting. Thank you so much and I hope to have you back again.
Marissa was wonderful with Chewy and Paco. She sent me pictures all throughout the day and kept me updated on how they were feeling and what they were doing. Definitely would trust her back to watch my babies!
Let me first say that I have known Marissa for nearly 4 years, during which time she impressed me as a hard-working and knowledgeable Medic. I knew she followed up on her commitments and would be at the right place in the right time. So when I found out she was beginning to work through Rover.com to take up pet-sitting, I had no hesitation setting up drop-in visits while my wife and I were out of town. During the initial meetup, my old, cranky, territorial terrier took to her immediately and she almost never does that. All my animals were very comfortable with her. During the visits, she checked in, took care of the dogs, and sent a lot of pictures. She also bathed both the dogs as an additional service. I would not hesitate to hire Marissa again, and she is my first choice for dog sitter as long as she remains in Texas.
Absolutely the best person you could have watch your fur babies. I have a very shy girl who doesn't warm up to strangers well and Marissa was ever so patient with her. I received numerous updates and pictures throughout the weekend, which allowed me to stress a lot less. I'm very particular when I let people watch our fur babies and Marissa has just made the top of our list. House was spotless, animals well tended to, and my babies were happy as ever. Thanks Marissa!!! We will definitely be using your services again and if we could give you 10 stars we would!

I would like information I need to know about your pet (allergies, diet, medication, personality, habits), how you would like activities to happen (how to correct bad actions, how potty procedures should be conducted), and what you expect from me as your sitter.
A typical day
There are several dog parks that we frequent at least twice a week, both for small and large breeds. I keep well with strict diets and consistent play sessions. We also take bathroom breaks and short walks throughout the day. Any special instructions you give to me will be strictly followed. I'm able to provide small training sessions while caring for your dog, teaching them to sit, stay, and other small commands, with of course, your permission if you'd like. Along with that, I also offer bathing with complimentary brushing with a special shedding brush.
