Hi! My name is Marissa, I currently work at home during the day, I have a chocolate lab who is 1 year old. We have a big yard, no fence unfortunately. This gives me lots of flexibility. I am willing to drop in, overnights, walks, vet visits, etc. I have house sat for dogs, taken them to vet visits. I love all animals especially dogs. I would love to have the opportunity to get to care for a special memeber of your family when needed. I am willing to do occasional visits or overnights if you are traveling. Marissa has far exceeded my expectations of what a dog walker/sitter could be! Rex (Dutch Shepard) is my baby so I’m super hesitant about who takes care of him! Being a traveling nurse, I needed someone reliable and willing to love him like I do when have to stay somewhere for assignments. She keeps me updated, sends pictures, and is always right on time! Rex can be a bit hyper sometimes but Marissa takes the time to help him release his energy with long walks or his favorite, fetch! Marissa gained my trust as soon as I met her, she was reassuring and Rex loved her too! 10/10 recommendation for Marissa!
Marissa is a fantastic and caring dog sitter to my two Labrador retrievers, Rory and Piper. They are highly energetic and love your attention as soon as you walk in the door and Marissa always greets them with a smile (even if the puppy piddles a little from excitement!). She is dedicated to her commitments and on time. She wouldn’t commit to the furry member of your family if she couldn’t give it her 100% and your little guy or girl would be lucky to have her look after them when you’re not there to! I would highly recommend Marissa as your next dog sitter or dog walker!

I do need proof of vaccination status and if the dog needs a crate or not. Our dog is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations as well. Any special dietary restrictions, how they typically sleep.
A typical day
Go outside, potty break, play time breakfast, outside or treat time. Walk at lunch or around 3pm. Can also walk in the evenings. We go to Boyce park fairly often and our neighborhood has a nice 2 mile loop we can do as well.

Availability
I am available for walks at lunch time and evenings, I typically play outside with the dogs every few hours. I can also provide baths if requested! I am available all day for bathroom breaks and medications as well.
