Veterinary Student who absolutely adores cats/dogs
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of quite a few fur babies in my lifetime. Ranging from my own (I had an epileptic dog - who I absolutely loved with all my heart - who required medicating quite 3-4 times a day), to my family/friend’s pets, to patients. I have experience working as a veterinary nurse in both a free fear general practice and an emergency clinic. I’m quite comfortable sound all breeds and am able to administer medications if needed.

10/10 sitter! Marissa was fantastic, helped us out pretty last minute and couldn’t have been better. Her dog Prada is brilliant and got on really well with our Patterdale pup. Can’t recommend Marissa enough!
We left our two, 5-month old puppies (at the time) with Marissa in September while we attended a wedding from 10:30am until the following day when we picked them up at around mid-day. We are really happy with the experience. It was our first time leaving our dogs with anyone, and we were really put at ease long before the date as Marissa offered to have a call before the date. We did a WhatsApp video call and just went over anything that was on our mind, and she shared with us in more detail her setup, options etc. She is obviously really knowledgable, experienced and easy to talk with, and we felt really comfortable with leaving our dogs with her. When the date came and we arrived, we spent about 10 minutes in her place together in front of the dogs, including her own, Prada. Prada was unbelievably good with them, totally chilled out and lovely with us too. It was just a really easy-going casual interaction where any last details were shared, mostly a confirmation of everything we’d discussed prior, we left some food for the dogs (we wanted to keep them on the same food) and then we left. We were able to communicate through the time while the dogs were with Marissa and pictures were included of the dogs. The next day we picked them up, and they were happy to see us. They were in no way anxious. They reacted just the same as if we had been out of our own house on return. The pickup was simple and the whole interaction throughout the experience was really professional. We will definitely use Marissa again if we are in the same area needing to leave our precious puppies with anyone.
Marissa was fantastic! My dog Chester made friends with Prada and he really wanted to stay longer. I totally recommend Marissa as she gave plenty of updates and pics of the time he was having with them. I'm ever so greatful, Jordan
Great dog sitter. Clearly very caring and took time to settle my dog. Photos sent during the day. Very accommodating and reassuring for us as owners. Highly recommend Marissa.

I have a 9year old small chihuahua/terrier mix, named Prada. I’ve had her since the day she was born. She was raised with other dogs and cats in the house and is quite comfortable around other animals. I practice fear free approaches and always ensure that dogs and cats are not put into stressful situations.
