Pet care experience
I have many years of dog training, grooming and AKC showing under my paws. I am currently a work from home graphic designer- so your dog will get a lot of attention during the day and depending on your dog's lifestyle, we will be taking long walks or visiting the dog park during their stay. I also have a large fenced backyard for zoomies. Pets are like children and I will be taking care of your fur-kid as if it were my own! I am an obedience trainer and outstanding groomer should you need help in either of those areas as well. I am excited to meet you and your furry friend(s), I’m very flexible for pick up and drop off times and have open availability as far as days.

Marissa has been a good friend of mine for six years. She’s been a dog mom the entire time, first to her childhood dog Moo, and now to her Bijon Frise, Freja. She trained both dogs herself with excellent results, and always put their needs first (e.g., not staying out late to ensure Freja goes outside on time and gets enough interaction). She dotes on Freja and is always taking her to the dog park or on play dates with friends’ dogs. Freja is always in great physical health and well-behaved. I have trusted Marissa to care for my own pet - a cat - and do not hesitate to recommend her to care for others’.
Marissa has had several years of experience handling and taking care of dogs. She showed dogs in 4H and showed (and championed) dogs at AKC dog shows. She also competed in obedience competitions. She is competent and good with dogs. I highly recommend her service. TG

A typical day
I live on the border of very walkable Wallace Woods in Covington KY- There is a wooded walking path down by the river nearby that I take Freja to when I'm looking for a long walk. There are three dog parks close by as well that will be perfect to take socialized high energy pups to. Freja is very good at sharing her toys- we have quite a few for in house play. If your dog is a couch potato our couch is open for the snoozin.
