I started walking dogs when I was about 8 years old for $1 per dog. The owners never had time to walk them, and so they were relieved to not only have a walker, but someone who was cheap. They commented that whenever the dogs came home, they would be happy and satisfied with their exercise. I was responsible and cleaned up after them, and sometimes I would even give them treats from the money I had saved up (after asking permission from the owner of course.) I’ve also volunteered with cat corner and Gloucester humane society. I have experience with chihuahuas, pit bulls, labs, and huskies. I’ve had experience with aggressive, shy, and overly friendly dogs. Don’t be worried if your doggie likes to jump. I’ve had experience with that too, it’s just what they do when they get so excited.
