Pet care experience
My very first job was working at a private pet boarding camp. I have also worked in a doggy daycare. I have always had dogs throughout my childhood, and now have my own sweet guy, Bo. We often petsit for dogs of family and friends, and love having an extra furry friend in the house. We’ve talked about getting a second dog for Bo to have a pal, but thought this would be a great alternative for the time being!

Marissa and Devon are both wonderful people who treat any pet in their care like family. I am someone very particular and cautious when it comes to leaving my pup in the care of others, but I know that my dog will be given a safe, comfortable home and all the love they need while in the care of Marissa or Devon. They are both experienced pet owners that know how to care for animals responsibly and safely, and also know the importance of each animal getting the exercise, play time, cuddles, and attention/ affection they need so that they are as comfortable and happy as possible while away from their own home/ family. I highly recommend this wonderful team of two! 😊
My husband and I call Marissa the “dog whisperer”. She is incredibly fun, attentive and loving towards all animals. She has cared for our little Ozzy (a mini golden doodle) on several occasions and he absolutely adores her. Her photo and video updates are so thoughtful and fun and she is just so easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone who needs care for their special animal🐶

In my house, we have a fenced in back yard, so my dog loves going to play outside for most of the day. I often bring my work setup out to the porch so he can stay out as long as he wants. We like to go for lots of walks, hikes, and runs, and would love to take another dog with us if the dog likes/can manage that. Otherwise, the name of the game is lots of cozy spots in the house to cuddle, nap, etc. Our dog is crate trained but we don’t normally use a crate with him, so we are ok with/without crates depending on your dogs needs/preferences!

My partner and I both work from home so our schedules are really flexible and can easily accommodate pet care, both with boarding in our home and running out for daytime potty breaks at the pets home.
