My love for animals goes back as far as I can remember, beginning with my family's loyal, protective German Shepherd, Max. My extended animal family eventually expanded to include two additional dogs, a chinchilla, a cat, a very friendly tarantula, and two horses, all of whom taught me many, many lessons in life as I grew up here in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Years of wildlife experience and anatomical study further enables me to understand and appreciate why you insist on the raw chicken atop one and a half cups exactly of the dry food, or why it's crucial their medicine be administered no later than 9 am, so have no fear!
