Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats since I was a teenager, and been around animals since a child. I was the main owner of our childhood cat and cared for him until the end. As we had kidney failure, I am accustomed to the specialized diet and treatment for elder cats. I have also cared for a cat with diabetes so am comfortable with giving medicine. In the past year, I have been dog sitting and walking within Washington and Connecticut. Living in a small New York apartment now, I can’t board pets but love dropping in, going on walks, and pet sitting.

Marissa is forever going to be my dog walker now. Immediately upon arrival both of my dogs ran up to her with wagging tails which is unusual behavior for them since they tend to be more shy and stand offish. She was super friendly and professional which made the whole process a breeze! I liked her but most of all my dogs liked her so now I’ll be a recurring customer and I recommend you do to! ??
Marissa was wonderful! She was super responsive and punctual. Henry had such a fun time hanging out with her! I will definitely be having her watch him again!
Marissa has helped me many times with my two huge dogs. She keeps them active and follows all medical directions. My dogs love her and get so excited when she gets to stay. I would highly recommend having her take care of your animals! She’s wonderfully caring and very trustworthy.
Marissa is a very attentive and caring sitter. Communication is quick, and she was great about sending updates and pictures of my two adorable teacup pomskies. When I arrived home, everything was in tip top shape and the pups were in high spirits. I will definitely be reaching out to Marissa again in the future. 5 star review!

A typical day
As I am an active person, I love to take walks with the pups at least twice a day. I also enjoy going to the dog park and throwing the ball around. As Astoria is extremely dog friendly it is always fun meeting dogs around the neighborhood!

I work remotely during the week, and have flexibility in my schedule to check in on your pet and go on long walks as needed throughout the week. Open availability on the weekends!
