I’ve known Marissa a long time and she has always had a passion for animals. Her actions speak to that passion — she went to a Vet Science academy, volunteered for our local animal shelter for 8 years, is a puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence, and is currently pursuing a DVM degree by attending veterinary medical school.
