Pet care experience
Growing up, my family had 3 mastiffs and later we had two boxers. I now have two St Bernard’s who are 4 and 5 years old, both about 150-170 lbs. Growing up with larger dogs has given me great knowledge and experience. I have also attended multiple puppy training classes and have experience dog sitting for family and friends who have dogs and cats of all sizes. I am also aware of different foods and plants that can be threatening to the health of dogs. I also have experience housesitting and taking care of reactive dogs. I love dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes and would love to help out anyone I can by helping and taking care of their pups. Marissa sent us lots of pics of our doggies while we were on vacation. It was so reassuring to see they were being well taken care of! Our dogs are a handful, and Marissa was great with them. One of our dogs has a heart condition, so Marissa had to give him meds every day. We were very happy with how well Marissa took care of our babies.
Exceptional service! Marissa did a “drop-in” visit for my two dogs. She let them run outside and updated me on how they were doing and sent lots of photos :) I would highly recommend Marissa to watch your pups.

I make sure to provide my pets with fresh clean water regularly and make sure they are fed within their scheduled times. My house has a fenced in yard we let our dogs roam around freely, i go out with them at least once a day to throw a ball for them or just give them company. I like to take my dogs for nice long walks for goo exercise and a change of scenery. When it comes to taking care of other peoples pets I usually follow any guidelines provided to a T and make sure to provide the animals with comfort and care.

I would like to know if your dogs need any special care before coming over. Do they need medicine? Are they reactive and anxious? Is there a best way to enter the home to not cause them any extra stress? I want your pets to be as comfortable and safe as possible.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for strolls around the block and play with them outside and try to practice training techniques with them to stimulate them physically and mentally. If there are any trails nearby to explore that is great, I think letting the dogs explore and sniff around is important.

Availability
I work a hybrid job Monday - Friday 9-5. I usually only go into the office Tuesday-Thursday. Between those three days I am available anytime before 8am and after 6pm. I am mostly available Friday-Monday anytime of the day :).
