I am currently working on going back to school for my DVM or my second Bachelors in Veterinary Technology. I am a Vet Tech at the veterinary clinic I work in now. I clearly cannot get ENOUGH dogs! Everyone that knows me, knows that I prioritize animals XD. I strongly believe in keeping you updated about your dogs care with photos, videos, check-ins. I will also have added knowledge because of my background that will increase the safety of your pups! I used to care for dogs before I started my Bachelors as well. So I am picking this back up. Great sitter! I left my two dogs with Marissa for about 5 days and she did a wonderful job! She sent me daily updates and really seemed to care for my fur babies ? I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Marissa was great with Baxter! We were a little apprehensive about using Rover.com as it was something new, but Marissa put our fears to ease. When we arrived for drop off, she had a great space set up for a meet and great and took time to let Baxter warm up to her. She always sent pictures and updates throughout Baxter’s stay. I felt comfortable and knew he was in good hands.. Marissa will be our first choice when we need a sitter for Baxter again.
Marissa watched my 2 dogs for 6 days. One dog has bad anxiety and I gave Marissa instructions on how to help him through his moments. I was ecstatic when Marissa told me she is familiar with fear free handeling of dogs! Usually I insist on meet and greets since my guy can be a handful, but I didn't this time, it was not needed. When we first met Marissa dropping the dogs off for their stay she had a very calm energy, greeted my dogs at their level and let them adjust to her and come to her. Marissa sent frequent thorough updates and photos of my dogs during their stay. She was very conscious of my guys anxiety and was included anything notworthy of his mood. Our pickup was seamless, Marissa had gathered all of the dogs belongings and had everything ready to load into our car! Both dogs greeted us happily, I could tell they had a fun time with her! When I need another sitter for them, Marissa will be the first Rover I check with!
Marissa was wonderful. We were new to the ROVER app, so we were nervous on what to expect. Marissa was always keeping us up-to-date with what was going on with out pup and also sending pictures, whoch made out time away from our pup so much easier. Thanks, Marissa!
