Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with all size dogs and cats my entire life. From a Great Dane to a shihtzu, and many cats. Within the past few years I have sat for several acquaintances and family friends. I am currently a veterinary assistant and have experience in general practice. I am able to give medications (pills or injections) and even trim nails if the pet tolerates it well. In previous years I have worked as a kennel/daycare technician at Whiskers and as a bather at Emmys Pampered Pooch.

Marissa did a great job in her first time caring for our two Devon Rex cats. Seemed very reliable. Good communication. We don’t travel much, but would definitely seek out her assistance again. No complaints at all. Nice to have that peace of mind while away!
This was our first time using Rover. We found Marissa through the app, and she was fantastic. She took amazing care of our two kitties, sending us daily updates with photos. We wouldn't hesitate to have Marissa look after our pets again.
Marissa took very good care of my cat Toshiro while I was out of state. I got pictures and written updates for each drop-in letting me know and see how well my little fur ball was doing. And now I know who I can trust next time I have to be away from home!

Availability
I currently work full time at cascade hospital for animals 4 days a week. I am available for morning drop ins prior to 8am, and drop ins anytime after 7pm on weekdays. I am free otherwise all day most weekends, and will always make time for meet and greets with new clients
