Pet care experience
Hi! I am a recent alumna of UVA, having just graduated in Dec. with my MPH in Health Policy, Law, and Ethics. I have always loved pets (both dogs and cats) and am looking to make a little additional income. I have 10 years of experience pet-sitting and dog-walking since middle school, having done so for multiple neighbors in my hometown. Specifically, I have many years of experience sitting and walking my former next door neighbor’s golden doodle, Riley. I met her as a puppy and now she is almost 13 years old. During my last year of undergrad at William & Mary, I gave 30 minute visits/walks (5 days a week) to a black lab puppy for a sorority sister of mine. I have exceptional experience watching, feeding, walking, and just playing and having fun with dogs of all ages! I am very responsible, organized, and attentive to detail, so I will make sure to tailor each one of my visits and/or walks to your dog’s unique needs. If you’re looking for a responsible and fun-loving pet-sitter/walker, look no further!

A typical day
If your neighborhood has a park or walking trail, I’d love to take your dog on walks around those areas. However, sidewalks and around the block is just fine too! I’ll gladly play fetch or engage with your dog by playing with toys, or just petting them and making them feel comfortable and safe. Anything your dog likes to do, I like to do too!
