In need of a dog park companion :)

Pet care experience

Live long lover of dogs. I grew up in a family where where I always helped care for our dog, but have been missing my own since moving to the city. I live alone in an apartment with enough space for your pup to roam around. I work from home so walks around the neighborhood and visits to the dog park are a must. My job is flexible so being able to go for plenty of walks would not be any problem. Would even love the company if your pup is up for a jog. I've been around enough dogs to know their needs and schedules vary so getting to know your dog is important to me and I value learning their likes/dislikes from you. looking forward to meeting you and your pet!

Marisol is a loving caregiver for dogs. Any time I would leave town I would feel secure leaving my dog, Pugsley, with Marisol. Marisol goes above and beyond just giving my dog the care that he needs. She will spend time with him amd she is very attentive. Dogs seem to be just as drawn to Marisol as she is to them. Marisol has been around dogs practically her entire life and I would entrust the care of Pugsley and any other dog that I may have in the future with her.

Marisol has been pet sitting my puppy, Hank, since I got him at 8 weeks old last March. She is very responsible, patient, and loving to all animals. My boyfriend and I joke that Hank gets more excited to see Marisol than us. Not many people I would trust with pet sitting, but because Marisol has a lot of experience with puppies, we can always be certain that she will know the best way to handle any issues and make Hank a happy dog!

Marisol is someone who has been around dogs her entire life, and her adoration and care for them has only grown. As a pet-owner herself, she is more than aware of just how much a dog can mean to someone --- how they are a confidant, a source of comfort, and company. Nobody likes leaving their dog behind, even if it's simply to go to work. However, knowing your pet is in the attentive, and loving hands of someone who has been around all kinds of dogs -- from miniature schnauzers with a calm temperament, to pit bull mixes with a more energetic, playful one, she has experience with dogs from small to medium-sized, from lap dogs ( big and small! ) to ones with an endless desire to play. As both a dog lover and owner, she knows the importance of tending to the specific needs of a dog, and is quite sensitive to behavioral changes, and enjoys rewarding dogs while without encouraging unwanted behaviors ( such as jumping onto sofas or beds, if that is your preference ). As someone who has been in the working field since she was a teenager, the weight of responsibility is something that she's always known, and put onto herself in order to transition into adulthood. These are skills that have only been cultivated further both in her independent work and as a dog owner. When you leave your pet with someone, you want to know they will be cared for -- but not just the bare bones basics. You want them to be in an environment that will not only be attentive to their needs ( food, water, walking / jogging ) but also welcoming, comfortable, keeping them content and happy while you are away. They'll be eager to see you again, of course ( you're they're whole world! ) but that doesn't mean they won't be able to enjoy themselves until then, especially in the hands of someone who embodies confidence and calm, and who genuinely enjoys spending time among all kinds of dogs. I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to know my pooch is always in careful, considerate, and loving hands when I can't be there. ❤
