I love dogs, cats, and all pets. I grew up with dogs and cats and have a new pup of my own. I am happy taking dogs on long walks and adventures and/or cuddling up with them and a good book. I prefer dogs that are social and I can take to dog parks or other places to interact with friends, but if that is not the case i am still happy to have one on one time with them. I have a 8 month old puppy who is potty trained and gets along with other dogs who would accompany any overnight visits or be present if the dog comes to my place (fenced backyard!). Ideally, she would be present on walks/visits/etc. but is happy at home if the dog requires solo time.
