Hi! Thanks for considering me as a loving companion to your furry friend while you're away. I have lived in a multiple dog household for the last 19 years. When it comes to experience with dogs, you have found the right gal! For many years I shared my heart and home with four dogs. They have all sadly passed away due to old age. My home is now full with the young and lively energy of three rescued dogs; Pico, Rosie and Charlie. With over 3/4 of an acre (fully fenced) your furry friend will have plenty of space to run and romp. I also have a covered deck for rainy days. It's a great place to get some fresh air and play, without having to get your paws wet :) As a stay at home mom, your dog will be let in and out at their desire. They will never spend more than 3-4 hours alone. While I do have three children, my home has over 2,800 square feet of living space. I am able to allow your pets to be with or without my children as much as your comfort level desires (even if it's not at all). I of all people, completely understand that many dogs don't tolerate young children. I have the space and ability to accommodate puppies that are not yet potty trained. I also have the loving hand to help out the gracefully aging senior pet that may need a little extra assistance and quiet space to lounge. My home is nice, but well lived in. There will be no fear of dog scratches on the floors, or muddy paws on the couch. I would prefer for your dog to tolerate being crated at night, while being fed, and when I need to run out to do an errand. Exceptions to this rule will be made if we talk out the details in advance. I'm not opposed to sharing my bed with your best bud, if he or she would enjoy that best. Mine spend the night crated simply because they can't be trusted otherwise. With multiple ball and frisbee sessions per day, your dog is guaranteed to come home tuckered out from their stay with me! I live on a quiet, dead end street in a small neighborhood perfect for strolling. Whether they're here for just the day, or an overnight....I promise your best friend will be barking for more. With less than a ten minute drive to downtown Asheville and a 30 minute commute to the airport, my home is super accessible.
