Dear Dog Lover & Parent - I am an avid animal lover, adventure enthusiast, and am a professional and mature female who loves spending time with all furry friends. I work in many arenas including many years as an actor and also run a small business out of my home, but am also always looking for new opportunities to expand on what I love in life and seek out new people and experiences. I would love to meet you and your "partner in crime" and help make things a little easier for you both while getting to make a new four-legged friend:) I have taken care of dogs for owners while they were away many times, often for weeks at a time. I genuinely love their company and love playtime outdoors, taking walks and enjoying time with each other.

2nd time using Marisa and she was great again! Our dog was well taken care of.
Marisa was fantastic. She spent the weekend with our pup over Christmas, and Nala seemed to have a great time! We got several pictures while we were gone with Nala wearing reindeer ears! It was such a treat! The next time we go out of town, I will definitely try to get Marisa again!
Marisa was great! Not only did she give our dog the attention she needs she also took great care of our house while we were out. We came home to a happy dog and a very clean house. We would recommend her to anyone who needs a dog/house sitter.
Marisa presents herself as a competent,experienced dog handler and a friend of animals. My Daisy was in her care all day for a period of about 12 hours. When we arrived back at the hotel from dinner last night, Daisy was happy to see us but obviously tired from a busy day of being walked and entertained by Marisa. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marisa to anyone looking for a respon sible person to entrust the care of their pet to in the comfort of their own hotel as we did. We were busy all day and evening and it was such a pleasure knowing Daisy was in good hands. Marisa was helpful to us as well with the information she provided to us as first time visitors to New Orleans. She I made us feel so welcome to be here- much as if we were visiting a friend or family member. I feel Rover.com provides a valuable service to pet owners In need of quality sitter services. I have worked with many types of dogs, puppies to many years of frisbee chasing and bone chewing gone by, miniature to extra large, all kinds of personalities that keep you entertained. I love animals in general and always enjoy the opportunity to play and make a new friend. I love dogs because they are so enthusiastic about life and really happy to just be alive. That is an awesome thing for anyone to be. Among the lessons animals have to teach us, that might be their greatest gift. Friendship, play, a good meal and some grass to roll in and well, what is there to complain about?
A typical day
I like to meet the parents and find out the rules of the house, what is allowed and what isn't, if the dog has any special needs that require special attention, and then in general, I just try to get a feel for the dog's personality, make friends and then see what things we can do to entertain us both. Each dog is different and I especially enjoy getting to know them as the individuals they truly are:)
