I have had the privilege of growing up with a family dog that became a beloved member of our household, alongside our cats. This experience not only deepened my understanding of dogs but also taught me how to care for them in a multi-pet environment. From ensuring harmony during meal times to managing different exercise needs, I learned to provide individualized care in a shared space. In addition to caring for our family dog, I have also had the opportunity to stay at other people's houses while dog sitting. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in the daily routines of various dogs, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing special attention. I approached each stay with a sense of responsibility and dedication, ensuring that the dogs felt comfortable, loved, and well-cared for in their own environment. Through these experiences, I have not only honed my practical skills in dog care but have also deepened my bond and understanding of these incredible animals. We lost our dog sitter and my very anxious dog has never been in a kennel for more than a day so we needed someone to house sit with our dog while we went out of town. I reached out to Marisa and she responded the quickest and continued to do so every time I reached out. We had a meet and greet that went great and we hired her to house sit. She eased into the introduction like a pro and by the end of the visit CC was sitting at her feet! She was super communicative and sent daily updates and photos. She left our home better than when we came and our dog happier for all the attention she was given! My dog is a bit of a diva with food and walks and she got her to eat and take daily walks and even kept her teary eyes clean. The peace of mind and the amazing care she gave CC was exceptional!

Availability
I work at a local bakery from Saturday to Tuesday, with evenings available after 5pm. Wednesday through Friday, I am available from 7am to 10pm for visits and walks. I am also available for home stays with proper notice any day of the week.
